About EAA Chapter 1221
The chapter was organized 10 years ago. There were ten charter members.Since that time the chapter has grown to
about 50 members. At last
count , the chapter members had about 50 aircraft , either in flying
condition, being built or being reconditioned. Most of the aircraft are tail draggers ,and many are flown with floats and skiis.
The Chapter meets in the hangar at the Cloquet airport on the second Sunday of the month at 7:00 pm during the summer.
The rest of the year the meetings are held in the Airport office , on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
The hangar is leased from Carlton County and has room for three aircraft , four if they are small. Chapter members may use
the hangar on a space available basis.
